It has been nearly four years since Irish singer song writer Juliet Turner released the album ‘Juliet Turner Live’. Since then she has been studying and recording a new album with producer Keith Lawless in a warehouse in Dublin over the last few months.

The Watson Twins release their debut album ‘Fire Songs’ today on Vanguard Records. The Twins announced themselves as a major emerging talent when they backed Rilo Kiley’s JennyLewis on her 2006 ‘Rabbit Fur Coat’ solo album and subsequent tour.

Earlier tonight Whitesnake and Def Leppard co-headlined the Odyssey arena in Belfast. I have been to a number of gigs in the arena and most have been fine but this concert surpassed all expectation.
